Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to personal information you give us through this website. It is deliberately short, because this website collects very little: there is one enquiry form, and there is no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

Last updated 7 September 2026

Who we are

Oskar Systems Ltd is a company registered in England, with its registered office at Alma Lodge Hotel, 149 Buxton Road, Stockport, England SK2 6EL, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for information submitted through this website.

If you have a question about this notice, or want to exercise any of the rights described below, email info@oskarsystem.com or write to us at the address above.

What we collect

If you complete the consultation enquiry form, we receive what you type into it. Four fields are required — your name, company, email address and a description of what you need — and the rest are optional.

  • Name, company name, email address and, if you provide it, telephone number
  • Optional context: your sector, company size, the system you currently run, the services you are interested in and your preferred contact method
  • The message you write describing what you are trying to solve

What we do not collect

This website uses no analytics, no advertising technology, no social media plug-ins, no embedded maps or videos, and no third-party scripts of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, we do not track you across websites, and we do not sell or rent your information to anybody.

Our web server keeps standard technical logs — including IP addresses — for a short period, to keep the site running and to limit automated abuse of the enquiry form. These logs are not used to identify individuals or for marketing.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry and to have the conversation you asked for. That is all. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we will not send you marketing you did not ask for.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have approached us about a business matter, and responding to you is what you would reasonably expect. Where we later enter into an engagement, we process information on the basis of that contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your information for marketing. A small number of service providers process information on our behalf in order to run this website and handle our email and business systems. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so that we can pick up a conversation you return to. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we need them for the engagement and for the periods required by law afterwards.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will do so, unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and in some circumstances to receive it in a portable form. You will not be charged for exercising these rights.

  • Access — ask what we hold and receive a copy
  • Rectification — have inaccurate information corrected
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your information
  • Restriction and objection — ask us to limit or stop a particular use
  • Portability — receive information you gave us in a machine-readable form

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first at info@oskarsystem.com so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if what we do changes — in particular if we ever add analytics or any technology that sets cookies, which would also mean asking for your consent first. This version is dated 7 September 2026.
